Once again US is pushing for quick peace deal. The US has asked President Kibaki and ODM leader Raila Odinga to cede ground and quickly agree on a power-sharing deal to restore stability to the country

The chief mediator in Kenya’s political crisis Kofi Annan has held another round of talks with President Kibaki and ODM Leader. Both Kibaki and Odinga said they were satisfied with the progress made by the Kofi Annan-led mediation team but wished the talks could be faster.
